Welcome to I Picture Hope.. I'm Camille Denae, a professional photographer whose mother battled breast cancer just last year. I am blessed to be able to say that her fight has been a victorious one. As I watched my mom undergo chemotherapy and a double mastectomy with reconstruction, I was always moved by how beautiful she was to me every step of the way. I found myself wishing that she could see herself through my eyes, and the idea for I Picture Hope was born.
I Picture Hope is an international network of photographers who offer FREE photo sessions to women fighiting or surviving breast cancer. We know that breast cancer can threaten to take away your femininity, and we want to help you celebrate your beauty through images that make you feel great about yourself. We are also partnering with makeup artists to be able to give you the complete beauty experience. When you schedule your free beauty session be sure to mention to your participating I Picture Hope photographer whether or not you would like them to provide you with a makeup artist at no cost to you.
You can expect your participating photographer to treat you like a queen. Your photographer can help you with decisions like what to wear, and talk with you to get an idea of your style and personality. Your photo session will last approximately half an hour, and within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive 10 full resolution digital images from your session professionally edited and ready to print for personal use. There will never be any attempt made to have you purchase anything, though your photographer may make a price list available to you upon request if you wish to have prints or products professionally made. We genuinely want to offer our services to you as our way of celebrating YOU with no strings attached.
I picture women feeling beautiful again and being given an opportunity to share their stories. I picture photographers everywhere being reminded how powerful their gifts are. I picture a world where people are stirred by the images and the stories they read and then decide to DO something. For each of the women who will be photographed . . .
I Picture Hope.
It's going to be a great thing!!!
much love,
Camille
